I loved the charms introduced in the addon to Diablo II, but I got frustrated that they took so much room in my inventory.
I would like to see a charm bag which holds charms and maybe runes inside the inventory and which the charms work from. Unlike if you put them in the horadric cube.
I would also have liked the ability to pay to remove gems from an item so that I could reuse them in another item. I would have been willing to pay a lot of gold to have more control over my gems.
Why did you have to have three gems of the same type? Why wouldn't three gems of the same size but random type combine into a larger, combo gem?

I think you need separate bags for different types of items, especially ones that take up so much room like charms!

Its not really a bad idea.
I too had the problems with charms. Armor and large
two-handed weapons took up a lot of space in inventory
already, but if you had charms too ..
The inventory in D2 was just not sufficient enough.
The did separate and put the money in a tap, instead
of it taking up space in your inventory, like back in D1.
Not to mention, some gem pouch too. It would be lovely.
Tomes of identify and town portal could have a slot too, right ?
Or instead of tomes, a scroll pouch with like 20-30 slots for
every scroll you had. They could add some sort of enhancement
scrolls, that temporarely increased attack stats.

I agree with the charm bag, that would be a great addon
As for getting the gems out of items again, it would add more value to gold, but to get valuable runes out of your armor would make runes MUCH less valuable and rare.. so i dont agree with being able to pay to get gems or runes out of items, you should choose wisely when you put the gems and runes in your items

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can use Horadric Cube to remove gems, ruins etc. from an item. I can't remember though, whether the bindings on the item remain after the operation...

u can remove them, but not without destroying the gems or runes
