People who think its too slow have been playing it for too long. I liked diablo 2 but would have prefered it if the pace was slower.

Diablo 3 that i have seen looks suprisingly good!! in terms of speed. HOWEVER if there is a run option i would like it if they DIASBLED it!!

I suppose there is always ESC and new game... but still..running circles around the mosters ...kinda! takes the crawl out of dungeon crawling.

However....as also from Diablo2 there is always the option of getting sorrounded by swarms..which seems to happen more in Diablo2..and 3 (i think). but not too fast guys...come on..enuff coffee...leave the game alone.

I agree, however in terms of navigating around actual maps, there is nothing more boring than spending 10 minutes simply walking from one area to another.

Diablo 1 was maybe the best dungeon crawler of all time. It would be nice to see D3 to return to its roots.

There is a world of difference between D1 and D2, in look and how fast the game moved. I personally prefer the game play of D1, with a slow paced, explorerer type of action. Maybe Diablo 3 will bring that back.

uhh, my legs are broken, im constipated, my armors heavy, and im a lazy sob, so im going to walk, and dont run. Do you realise how lame that will be only walking ? Diablo1 style?

I agree with one of the things Arkansaw said, there is nothing lamer than slowly walking through just to get to the next area.

I will say one thing in your defense, the faster you can run, the bigger places need to be, the slower it will take to get from location A to location B point in case, Act 3 diablo2 was way too big in some areas,
but at the same time, the faster you go, the faster monsters can be, every things balanced, so whats the problem?

Im not exactly sure what your complaint is, running in circles so you dont get trapped? I dont get what the problem is :P

It is 2010 now and who knows what year it will be when the game comes out.
If a game today doesn't have walk/run toggle, it shouldn't even exist.
If u like only walking in a game, that's fine, don't run. But don't ask for running to be disabled because that's pretty selfish and a lot of people like the idea of having a choice.
