Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2 Released First?

BattleForums (http://www.battleforums.com/newscomments.php?id=28) reckon they have a source stating that D3 will be released before SC2... Hmmm, I don't think so!

We received news today from an anonymous source from inside Blizzard, confirming that development of StarCraft 2 will be largely postponed until Blizzard's recently announced, and long-awaited Diablo 3 is ready for the market. [Starcraft 2] is still being worked on, but only by a minuscule amount of people compared to what [Blizzard] put on the Diablo 3 team. This has yet to be confirmed officially by Blizzard, and I personally doubt they will respond. Because this information was leaked unintentionally through a casual conversation with one of our staff members, we can not reveal the name of our source publicly - so to protect this individual and his/her position within Blizzard. Nor can we say that this came directly from Blizzard.

d3 first! Even though I love BOTH, but I d3 is on my top game wishlist!

starcraft 2 is being split in to 3 games probally why they took support from it since to fully complete it will take alot of time. i'm glad its d3 first not sc2

What do you mean SC2 is being split into 3 games!? First I have heard of it...

i read it in GM it said the first game will revolve around the human campign because they said it was to big of a game to contain in just one game so they split it into three games the last 2 being like expansion sets

If the important thing is the order of announcement, then it will be Starcraft 2 to be released first.

If by some magical reason, blizzard released Diablo III & SC2 on the same day, at 12:00am and left me with just $65.99 in my hands, and gave me the option of whether to get one or the other.

Of course, I gotta put my money on Diablo III. There's really no comparsion between both games. It's just that good on the top of anybody's list. The mystery of the other 2 classes, also increases the hype.

In a video, Blizzcon or something, I'm afraid I can't find it anymore, they actually announced Cataclysm and Starcraft 2 for 2010. They haven't mentioned Diablo 3. So I guess Diablo 3 will come 2011.
