That is a good point. Werewolf was/is a great class. It would be a shame if they didn't port it over to Diablo 3...

i read somewhere that a blizzard employee stated that the barbarian would be the only returning class although some classes might resemble other classes from the previous games:)

That would be a good way of doing it - similar abilities, but different class.

I was thinking it would be fantastic if one of the new classes was a lychanthrope with different shifting abilities. This time with more synergy instead of having to choose between 3 different and uncompatible builds of the druid class. going from half man/half beast to 100% beast with speed and leaping abilities. Ahh the possibilities.

Sure hope they don't remove it. But I don't see any problem in a new class with similiar abilities.

By saying they arent bringing any of the old classes back, it makes it sound like the werewolf is a shoe out. However, how does a weretiger or a wereelephant sound?

a were elephant... that'd be like something funny... too funny to have but a weretiger would be good. I say they should have one section for different animals u can shift in to and then have a tab for passive abilities u can use in forms and then a tab for spells u can cast in the form
