Which is D3 most like: World of Warcraft or Harry Potter?

From what is being said around these forums it sounds more WoW than Harry Potter to me, but then again I have never played Harry Potter. Also, the Barbarian class isn't exactly Harry Potter - esque is it? :D

That was probly what I liked about wow - asdw directions but I totally hated Wow as boring and waste of time and money. Anyway, if D3 will have asdw direction movements, then it's cool. Neither have I played HP so I cannot tell you what it will be like most.

I think D3 will be similar to Titan Quest more than anything else (even more than Diablo2:p). But I have to confess, when I look at the artworks and skill icons, especially skill icons, I can't stop thinking about IceWind Dale2.

Blizz guys have already told us that Diablo3 will be completely mouse driven. Everyone who can use a mouse, can play D3. There will be no WASD control scheme. And why should there be? Point-n-Click interface is perfectly fine. You can use keyboard shortcuts for skills and actions, but that's it. No movement controls on the keyboard.
By the way, D3 is an isometric game. How many successful isometric games have you ever seen using WASD control scheme? Several games have tried, and failed. Example: Space Siege and Hard to Be a God:mad: .

I'm pleased its mouse only for movement, but also doublely pleased that they are having keyboard shortcuts!

diablo 3 is its own game, its not going to be like WoW just because its from blizzard. im a long time blizzard player ive played all three of their best game series (starcraf, warcraft, and diablo) and just because they made WoW doesn't mean they are going to change diablo from the legend it already was. Diablo 2 was one of their best games ever in my opinion and if they are to make it like any game, its going to be similar too diablo 2...

D3 isn't gonna be as Harry Potter said, as BlaZed said, it's a movie and a crappy game. If I have to choose between HP and WOW I would said WOW, with no doubt.

I'm sure there won't be too much of a merge. Because actually Blizzard always has been known for fantastic character design and story telling. There will be a clear difference between D3 and WoW. A few things there will be in common but that is normal because behind D3 and WoW there is of course Blizzard. And Blizzard has it's own style and character as well. They won't, and don't have to change like a chameleon! They will do it the Blizzard way no matter where they go or what they going to do. As you and I would do that!

It's Diablo 3. It stands alone. The features are repeated but the style and gameplay is UNIQUE.
