alright so i went into game stop and asked the suppervisor if they new if D3 is going to come out any time soon. they said that they dont think it is gonna come out for atleast a couple of years. because blizzard is afraid that every one that plays WOW will quit and play D3 since it is free online action. and since WOW is how they make the mojority of their profits they could possibly go out of bussiness.
post back if you guys find out any thing different.

A couple of years? I was thinking that it will come out in (or after) summer of 2010...

I'm with wolfman, i don't believe couple of years.
I went into gamestop to (once again) buy diablo 2 + expansion.
So i asked about D3 while i was there, they said that they had no information at all about the release but that it's probably gonna come out 2010.

And i highly doupt that D3 will bring WoW down, it would be awesome if it did though.

The way I believe it will work out: SC2 beta this summer, SC2 next year, Diablo 3 year after, but then again look at SC:G and you can doubt it lol.

I've worked for an ebgames/gamestop. They don't anything and there pulling stuff out of their ass. You'll find more accurate information online. Don't go to game stores for information like that, they only know as much as we do. I believe we'll see diablo 3... around this time (http://kurastdocks.com/131/starcraft-2-delayed-what-about-diablo-3/).

I've read about the SC2 delay and thought once reading it now D3 will be delayed as well.
I honestly believe that Diablo 3 will have to wait until 2011, but i hope not.

I can see the business logic in that decision. But, as a gamer I'am not to happy about it.

Why would someone continue to play a game they have a pay for, when they can get D3 for a one time price? And, several months back I heard that WOW as making the people at blizzard filthy rich.

Hell, it's coming out after SC2, and the next WOW Expansion. So give or take 2 years.
